<p>In his video, “Achieve Your Goal: Jack Canfield On Never Giving Up,” Jack explains how he and his partner were trying to get “Chicken Soup For The Soul” published and it was rejected by 144 publishers before it was eventually published. They were told that the title didn’t make sense and that no-one wanted to read short stories.<span id="more-480"></span></p>
<p>After 14 months of trying to get the book published they took it to the National Booksellers Association where they finally found someone to publish it. The funny thing is that the publisher predicted that they wouldn’t sell more than 20,000 copies, but Jack and his partner had set a goal to sell 1½ million copies in 18 months!</p>
<p>Their goal was reached and they went on to sell millions of copies worldwide. If you have to ask yourself the question, “why should we set goals” then you should already have your answer. Jack didn’t just set a goal and do nothing about it, he took action trying to find a publisher and never gave up. Never, never give up!</p>

<p>Anthony Robbins was talking about the current financial situation and how it really is no different to any other disaster that we have faced in our lives previously. </p>
<p>Even with the impact these disasters had on us, there were still people out there who managed to make a living and survived the impact it had on them. What he was saying was that we cannot let the circumstances defeat us, but instead, we should raise ourselves up to the challenge and find a new direction.</p>
<p>Motivation and self improvement is your responsibility and is an insight into the way you are currently thinking. If you are in a constant state of negativity, then it is your responsibility to change your thoughts in any way you can.</p>
<p>If you believe that the current financial crisis is going to destroy your current lifestyle and everything you&#039;ve worked for then it will happen. What you need to do is to change the self talk in your head and turn it  around to thinking about how you can change your situation for the better. Change will only happen when you decide to do something about it.</p>

<p>If I forgot all the hard feeling it cause, all the opportunities it destroys, but remembered this one thing I would be hating shyness to death, and trying to get rid of it ASAP. So, what&#039;s that &#034;one thing&#034;?</p>
<p><em><strong>It prevents you from the joy of being yourself in public</strong></em>. It&#039;s fantastic feeling, full of strength&#8211;courage, pride and confidence. Everybody should get rid of shyness once and for all. Watch this video, and the tips at the end of this post for a good start to overcome shyness&#8230;</p>

<p>Everyone has a new years resolution; whether it&#039;s to stop smoking, spending more time with the family, or simply dieting. So VideoJug asked leading life coach Dr Sally Ann Law for advice on how to stick to a New Year&#039;s resolution. <p><strong>Step 2: Just another day</strong><br />
The first thing you need to realise when making your resolution is that New Year&#039;s day is just another day. Don&#039;t put too much emphasis on it being a brand new start or the day your life will change because this probably isn&#039;t the case. Think of it more as a catalyst for change and a jumping off point.</p>
<p><strong>Step 3: Choose your resolution</strong><br />
Review the different areas in your life and think about what is working as well as what isn&#039;t. Instead of picking the same old resolutions that you can never seem to keep, like losing weight, giving up smoking or winning an award, choose an area that you know needs improvement rather than a radical change. Think long term and make sure it&#039;s something you can realistically see happening.</p>
<p>For instance, perhaps you don&#039;t see enough of your friends or you never ring your mum. Working on these seemingly simple things may be more rewarding in the long run.</p>
<p><strong>Step 4: Write it down</strong><br />
Once you have decided on your resolution, write it down. You could even make a contract with yourself stating what you will set out to do and sign it to make it official.</p>
<p><strong>Step 5: Get some support</strong><br />
Tell a friend who you trust about your resolution. They will provide you with support and keep you focused on your goal. And if you are wavering at all, their support will ensure you don&#039;t give up just in case you feel like a quitter.</p>
<p><strong>Step 6: Review your progress</strong><br />
Break your resolution down into stages so you can track your progress. Look back after a couple of months and see what you&#039;re doing right. Try to fix anything that you&#039;re doing wrong. For instance, if your resolution was to go to the gym three evenings a week, perhaps you haven&#039;t been sticking to it because you always work late. Try going in the mornings instead. Making a minor adjustment could be the key to success.</p>
<p><strong>Step 7: Make more resolutions</strong><br />
When you are doing well at keeping your resolution, you may discover that you are feeling better about other areas of your life too. Going to the gym may lead you to cut out smoking too. Similarly, if you have given up something as part of your resolution, try to find a pleasant and diversionary substitute to keep your mind occupied. Quitting smoking may encourage you to exercise more.</p>
<p><strong>Step 8: Celebrate</strong><br />
Remember to celebrate your successes, but make sure the way you celebrate doesn&#039;t go against your resolution. If you cut down on drinking alcohol, it&#039;s best not to reward yourself with a glass of wine. Instead, treat yourself to those shoes you&#039;ve had your eye on or tickets to a play you&#039;ve been dying to see. You deserve it!</p>
<p><strong>Step 9: Keep going</strong><br />
Why stop now when you&#039;ve done this well? Extend the timeline of your resolution and work it into your everyday routine. By next year, you&#039;ll be more than ready to face your next challenge.</p>

<p align="left">And what I found over the years is there is one correlation. And <strong>that is self esteem</strong>. The more you like your self &amp; respect yourself, the more you can set yourself to be valuable and important person, the more you sell!</p>
<p align="left">You see, because the more you like yourself.. The more you like other people. The more you like other people&#8230; the more they like you <span id="more-111"></span>back and wan to buy from you&#8230; buy from you again and recommend you to their friends.</p>
<p align="left">Self esteem is like the energy source &#8211; reactor core of your personality. It determines everything about you. Now psychologists will tell you that your personality has 3 parts:</p>

<p align="left">your self ideal;</p>
</li>
<li>
<p align="left">your self image;</p>
</li>
<li>
<p align="left">your self esteem</p>
</li>
</ul>
<p align="left">Your self ideal is your goals, your dreams, your hopes, your visions, the person you want to be. The picture of the very best person you can be in the whole world.</p>
<p align="left">Your self image in the other hand is the way you see yourself and think about yourself in the present.</p>
<p>What we know is that <strong>top people</strong> have very clear ideals, very clear goals, and very clear ideas of the kind of person that they would be if they were the best person possible.</p>
<p align="left">What we have found here is your self image is the way you see yourself in the moment. It’s your inner-mirror. It’s what you think about yourself before you go into a sale situation.</p>

<p align="left">Now what we have found, is that the closer your self-image, the way you’re performing is to your self-ideal, the best person you can be&#8230; the more you like yourself!</p>
</blockquote>

The more you like yourself, the bigger goals you set&#8230;<br />
