Your ability to achieve your own happiness is the key measure of your success, of how well you are doing as a person.
You learn the key to happiness that has been the same through all of history. You learn how to dispel the two myths that may be holding you back and how to achieve more happiness in everything you do.
Dedicate Yourself to Your Best Talents
The key to happiness is this: dedicate yourself to the development of your natural talents and abilities by doing what you love to do, and doing it better and better in the service of a cause that is greater than yourself.
This is a big statement and a big commitment. Being happy requires that you define your life in your own terms and then throw your whole heart into living your life to the fullest. In a way, happiness requires that you be perfectly selfish in order to develop yourself to a point where you can be unselfish for the rest of your life.
Imagine if you could become a millionaire today!
Your life would be easier and more fun. You could be taking more vacations, and spending the kind of time with your family that you really want.

Many of us think that there is really no way we can have real, lasting joy in life. There are so many problems and issues that go on in our personal lives that we don’t even have the time to feel joy.
Looking in our local community and the world beyond, we wonder if there is ever a cause for joy. Of all the good feelings we wish to have, joy seems one of the most elusive.
Joy can come from many sources. We are happy when we are successful, or someone we love is successful. We are joyful when we fine our soul mate in a spouse or partner. We are joyful at happy occasions. However, we feel that finding joy in everyday life is more elusive. But it doesn’t have to be.
Some lives seem to stretch on forever, perhaps longer than they should! Some are brief and full of adventure. Some are level, while others are full of frequent peaks and valleys. Most are full of crossroads, upon which the wanderer comes to a crucial point of decision: he could turn towards failure and deprivation, or he could turn towards wealth and success. In this sense we are all blind, trusting our instinct, allowing it to guide us down roads whose destination we can’t possibly see.
Every life is full of forks and intersections, not to mention dead ends. We may find ourselves headed the wrong way, or getting off at the wrong exit! Luckily, there are gas stations on the highway of life. Pull over, take a break, refuel, and reevaluate your trajectory across life’s dark continent. Here are just a few milestones to guide you as you examine your road map.
1. Destination: Unknown.
Did you ever drive to Disneyworld, only to find that the Magic Kingdom was closed for the day? OK, maybe not. But the point remains that we never know what we’ll find at our journey’s end; the destination we imagine in our minds may be quite different in reality, or may not exist at all. That doesn’t mean we stop pressing forward. Because, on the other hand, it may exceed our wildest expectations. Regard this uncertainty as just another element of adventure. Life would be a bore if we always knew exactly where we were headed.
